1. Agreement
By using Mail 347, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, that's totally fine — but you won't be able to use the service. We've tried to make these as fair and readable as possible, because we believe terms of service shouldn't require a law degree.

2. The 347 Rule
Mail 347 is an invitation-only service. Here's how it works:
- Accounts are non-transferable — your account is yours alone
- Inactive accounts (no login for 12 months) may be reclaimed after notice
- Members may receive a limited number of invite codes to share
- We reserve the right to manage the waitlist and membership at our discretion

3. Acceptable Use
Mail 347 is for humans who want a better email experience. You agree to:
- Use the service for lawful purposes only
- Not send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk email
- Not use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
- Not impersonate other people or entities
- Be a generally decent human being 😊

4. Payments & Billing
Good things cost money — here's how ours works:
- We offer monthly and annual subscription plans
- All prices are displayed in your local currency where possible
- You can cancel anytime — no cancellation fees, no tricks
- Refunds are available within 14 days of any payment
- We'll always notify you before any price changes take effect

5. Your Content
Your emails, attachments, and data are 100% yours:
- We do not claim any ownership over your content
- We do not read, scan, or analyze your emails
- You can export your data at any time in open formats
- When you delete content, it's actually deleted (see our Privacy Policy)

6. Account Termination
We hope it never comes to this, but we may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these terms or our acceptable use policy
- Are used for illegal activities
- Compromise the security or experience of other members
- Remain inactive for more than 12 months (with prior notice)
You'll always receive notice and a chance to export your data before termination, except in cases of severe abuse.

7. Service Availability
We aim for 99.99% uptime, but we're honest about reality:
- We provide the service "as is" without guarantees of perfection
- Planned maintenance will be announced at least 48 hours in advance
- We're not responsible for outages caused by factors beyond our control

8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do:
- We'll notify you via email at least 30 days before changes take effect
- Major changes will be highlighted clearly
- Continued use after the notice period means you accept the new terms
- You can always leave and export your data if you disagree

9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if that doesn't work, through the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
